Hey everyone! I had to take a brief break because life has been pretty crazy recently. I haven't been playing guitar nearly as much as I should, over the last few months, but I am slowly practicing more and more.

Updates:

I bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio(Natural Finish):

I recently ordered some Blue Chip Picks as well as a Dugain Goat's Horn Pick(It was made ethically, I promise); but more on those when they arrive.

Glad to be back, and glad to see you all again.

Hi

Lovely finish on that LP, much better than many of the painted ones.

SOME blue chip picks, that must have cost you as much as the guitar!!!!

Great to have you back - that is a beautiful looking guitar! smile.gif
The wood color and texture is just stunning.

I'm curious - what are Blue Chip Picks and Dugain Goat's Horn Pick?

Thanks for welcoming me back everyone!

Posterboy: Believe it or not, but the guitar has absolutely no finish at all! That was one of the reasons I bought it. I wanted it to look like I was playing a tree straight from the ground. I even had a mahogany pickguard made to match the body! I will post more pictures when I make the necessary modification.

Bogdan: Dugain and Blue Chip are pick companies. Their products tend to be a bit more expensive.

I put in a custom order with Red Bear as well. They didn't have any of their classic picks left in stock, so I ordered one of them. I figure, if I am going to be a tone seeker, I might as well try everything I can to get the tone I want. I looked around and I figured guitar picks would be the place to start in terms of equipment. I have changed my playing style a bit, and so far I have only had positive results.

Next on my list is a new amp. laugh.gif
