Hi,

I'm from Germany, rejoined GMC recently and have been currently active on the collaboration tune GMC-Hit 2, which Gabriel put on.
I played in an unknown metal Band called Unicorn way back in the 80ies in Krefeld, Germany, with the rehearsal room next door to Lucifers Heritage, who became Blind Guardian later; we even had one Gig together in the Kulturfabrik Krefeld, 1989 I suppose, those were the days...

1990 I finished my studies in Düsseldorf and moved to Southern Germany where I work now. I never had a band ever since but didn't want to let the music down on the other hand, so I built up a little home studio, knowing nothing about the bells and whistles of mixing and mastering, producing, trying to make my way through all this. I only was a rhythm guitar and keyboard player at may "active" time in Krefeld, and now I had to do it all: Sing, Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Songwriting, Lyrics, Recording, Mixing and so on. Okay, meanwhile I settled down a little with all this. But I'm still lightyears away from pro or even good, but hey, still better than having that axe nailed on the wall and covered with dust as many of us end up with.

Participating on the collab with Gabriel was really good fun; I joined Soundcloud today to share a bit of my work with you guys. Just go to Soundcloud.com and type "angass" (without quotation mark) into the search field and you should be good to go to listen to my stuff; I'll be uploading some more next time.

So that's it for now, good to be here with all those awesome skilled and friendly people

Nice to meet you

Cheers

Hey Sergej,

Good to meet you and welcome to GMC. Marcus Siepen of Blind Guardian was an instructor here.

I only listened to two of your songs so far but I'll be back for more... "The Piper" is just amazing song! Love the chorus and the keyboard/guitar solo is great. cool.gif

Hi Angass! Welcome to GMC! I knew you in the GMC hit collab but I didn't know about your musical background! You were living where some of my favourite bands were starting! I have been a great fan of German Power Metal.
