how do I figure out the tempo in reaper,so and then , how do I adjust my delay for maximum fluidity

Or are you talking about the tempo of a certain piece that you want to record a solo over and you would like to set the delay in order to match the tempo of the piece?

I don't use Reaper but delays usually have the option of tap to tempo or something similar. This option connects the effect with the project's tempo and then you can choose the repetition figure (8th notes, 16th notes, etc). Can you find this setting there?

just what is in reaper, I did not see a match tempo tap , just an milliseconds one that I can adjust but how do I figure out to what millisecond ?
