I tried to download this, obviously from the wrong site cause I got some zip file without getting tuxguitar
does anyone know which site to get it from( the site that I tried said it was the official site ) |

Maybe the setup/installer file was in the .zip file you have downloaded?

thanks ,that first link was where I was at, spent an hour and half, now all of a sudden it takes 30 seconds, computers

Great choice! Tuxguitar is very similar to Guitar Pro, it's free... and made in Argentina.

Also, TuxGuitar is available in Liberkey, an excellent portable apps suite. I run Liberkey in my DropBox, so I have it on every computer I use.
