Hi guys! I'm back! How are the things? Have you been working yesterday and today?

I'm just back from a gig with Cirse in another city called "Rosario" that is around 500 kilimeters far from here. This is the 4th time that we played there, but it's the first time that it was sold out! smile.gif There wasn't a big hall but there wasn't too many people the previous times.
I know that a good press promotions has been done this time. We did many radio and newspapers interviews.

We traveled on yesterday morning by bus, (not a tour bus, a normal bus) and we arrived at around 14 hs there. We went to some radio stations to do interviews, then at around 18 hs we went to the hostel where we could rest, and drink some mate.

At 19 hs we went to the soundcheck. We didn't have to bring our equipment, just the guitar, bass, pedals, drum cymbals and snare. There was a JCM900 with a marhall 4x12 cabinet waiting for me. As I'm now big fan of its distortion and as I rarelly find a Mesa Boogie on this type of gigs, I always bring my Visual Sound Jekyll & Hide to use it as my main distortion. After some work I could get a good combination with the amp and pedal. I also had my ernie ball volume pedal, a fender tunner and the visual sound H2O which has chorus and delay. My set up was very simple but was enough for this gig and comfortable travel by bus. This time, our live sound engineer could come so I was sure that we were going to sound good! After the soundcheck we got back to the hostel to have dinner and be ready for the show.

We had two opening bands, one was very close to Green Day (it was awesome how similar the singer's voice was to Billy's voice), and the other one was closer to Paramore, they played many covers by them. At around 2 am we started the show and it was killer! Fans knew the lyrics of all the songs and they sang with us the whole show! smile.gif We had a great time and we felt very happy.

After the show we meet many fans out to take some pics and to sign our cds. They have been very warm with us.

Then we get back to the hostel to sleep until 10 am because that was the hour that our bus arrived to take us back home. smile.gif It seems that we will get back to Rosario to present our next album in a bigger place on August.

I always liked these concerts, yours is just to take your guitar with you and nothing else ! The second story is that usually you don't get amp that you need, previously ordered biggrin.gif! If you order Marshall, you'll get Lanney. Fender ?- you'll get Peavey or Roland. But it's still fun, in some way smile.gif !

hahah true story! This time it was close, I asked for the JCM2000 (as it was one of the possible options), and I got a JCM900. biggrin.gif

Sounds like a great show! smile.gif It is good that you are able to adjust a good guitar sound even if it isn't an amp that you favor.
