Nice smile.gif Sad but true, I see stuff like this all the time. Offering pretty much zip in exchange for everything from a muscian/band. Eg. Great chance to promote your music by playing at my wedding for free!!!! Same deal for budding film makers/directors, "Get experience by shooting my Wedding Video/Kids Bday Party/School Reunion/Other boring event!! No Pay, but great experience!"

Folks often think they are the first to come up with the idea. "Hey, I know! I'll put an add on Craigs list and it's Win Win!!! The NOOB in question gets to think he's gaining something and I get free services!!"

I see it all the time smile.gif If these got zero response, they might stop popping up. But some folks are just desperate enough to give away their time/energy/music/talent for nothing playing/shooting a wedding vid/birthday party. The result is a decline in perceived value for everyone involved.

So quick tip, CHARGE WHAT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD GET smile.gif And also, experience leading to money/leads is one thing, donating your talent for no good reason is something else. Charity is fine, but value what you do and offer and others will as well.

Todd
