I saw an ad for it yesterday - looks great for travelling if you also had a travel guitar you could be self sufficient, and Line6 stuff usually rocks - but I haven't tried it.

Wow this really looks cool!

I would really be interested in knowing if any sound improvements have been done since pod xt - also, it's a pitty there doesn't seem to be an usb port. I would definately use this one for direct recording to the computer!

Pulled this info from Musicians friend. Looks like you'll be able to plug into the computer.

The Line 6 Pocket POD has a user-friendly design that makes it simple to dial in the tone you're looking for. To customize your sound even more, plug Pocket POD directly into your computer via USB and download the FREE Pocket POD tone editing software from Line6.com. Take your sound to the next level with the Pocket POD processor by connecting to CustomTone.com, the online destination for guitarists. There you can choose from a library of over 3,000 preset tones, create new tones, and share them with guitarists from around the globe. Experience world-class tone in the palm of your hand at an unbeatable price. Make your sound your own.

It says like this on the F.A.Q page at line6.com:

Does Pocket POD pass audio over the USB cable?

Pocket POD is a class compliant USB MIDI device, but does not pass audio over USB. Pocket POD does come with a USB to USB Mini cable connection jack that will allow you to interface with Vyzex, Line 6's deep editing software, but it will not allow you to record over USB.

might be good to know smile.gif

Yes - this only offers the possibility to edit the sounds through the computer...
