> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: In Harmony by Ben Higgins

EDIT: I just want to mention that I don't play the lesson at original tempo (90 BPM). This is slightly to fast for me, so I played over the 70 BPM backing track.

Hey mate - if I am not mistaken, this recording is done at a slower tempo than the original, right?

In any case, it sounds like it's going on a good path - the only thing that I'd have to suggest would be to try and make more fluid - that will come with practice, but let's see the full speed track uploaded in here smile.gif

Hi man! You are doing a good job with this lesson. I think that it already sounds good at this tempo. Keep on practising increasing a bit the tempo. As this lesson is not at normal tempo, I think that we can't grade it.

Nice take! We can't grade it as REC section requires a lesson take to be recorded in the original lesson tempo.

Your playing was very nice! Try concentrating on connecting notes smoothly and not making pauses between the notes (unless the piece you are performing requires that kind of "staccato" vibe).

My suggestion would be to practice hands synchronization, check out these lessons/series :
