> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

You have made great progress! Your timing is almost perfect and it's obvious that you have grasped the way in which to follow a click. Now, next level smile.gif

It happens that I know how to play this lesson myself and you are not respecting the breaks between the phrases. I will make a little movie for you in which I will talk a bit about these, k?

Hey Tom, thank you for your nice thoughts man smile.gif It's always a pleasure to see that our efforts are helping people. I will shoot a few vids and place them here, although I will have to ask my sensei's permission to do that smile.gif

I'll play once at slow speed with the metronome in the movie for ya, ok?

Awesome Cosmin, and yes some Sensei are very strict about recording videos in the classroom, when I teach myself it can be a bother for me as well. If you stick to your training you will love it, such a great release for frustration and anger and more that that you learn alot of self control and I leave feeling very at Peace and confident, seriously though alot like guitar you never stop learning haha. Bought a song of itunes from you guys, Meta, great tune let me know what other songs of yours I should get biggrin.gif its great music and my way of paying you back for the grreat support you have given me,

Now, here's the little movie I was talking about: Hi Cosmin I am trying to send you a video but my pedal is going through computer and cant get backing track to record so now am trying to send a soundcloud clip of the piece http://snd.sc/109r9Bh
Please let me know if this works, this is at 75 bpm and am working at full speed. Will figure out what problem is eventually.

Hey mate, unfortunately, it doesn't work sad.gif

Can you record using the webcam for now, if you want to send something? I read your topic in the Practice room as well, but I don't know what could be wrong - Darius' suggestion regarding re-installing the camera drivers, sounds as the best option so far.

Sorry Cosmin was really hoping that using soundcloud would work for the moment, I listened to the first time I did the take and how out of time it was compared to now. I cannot believe how much better it is, using the metronome has helped so tremendously, now I can hear when the chord changes happen and change with them on time. You have seriously improved my guitar playing its awesome. I will figure this camera thing out hopefully within a day. Thank you again, Guitar Sensei. biggrin.gif

You have no clue how happy I am when I read the things you are telling me biggrin.gif Thanks for making my day a great one! Ah, BTW, this weekend I will be attending a very special seminar with this guy - he is friends with my sensei and they will be presenting a historically based sword seminar, comparing a few techniques throughout various periods in the Japanese history.

Haha! Yes it does work! Good going mate! I am very proud biggrin.gif

Listen, everything sounds great, but please take care when playing the descending parts - your alternate picking is not consistent. With that, I mean that you're not only going down up down up all the time - you are changing the direction of the picking and that's not the best choice smile.gif

I'll show you in a movie, but tell me, would you be up to trying a new lesson, raising the difficulty level a little bit? biggrin.gif

There we go:

There we go:Hi Cosmin, first off thank you for making my day biggrin.gif . Like I said when I saw the first take of that piece I did compared to the last piece I sent, I feel like I'm such a better guitar player and really that would of not happened without your guidance. Secondly the metronome wow does that help and need to understand that more and watching myself play on video is great helps so much. If you think Im ready to step it up and do another lesson then yes lets do it I'm very excited to learn something new and will keep practicing that other piece to work on the alternate picking. Good luck on your sword seminar, I was blown away by his speed and how calm he looked doing it please let me know how that goes. Last but not least your song Meta is killer, went and bought the seeds Ep because I actually like it and at the same time get to support you guys. Take care Cosmin and am looking forward to learning more

Wow, thank you very much for the support man! I am really glad to help and I think it's time to move on to a new lesson smile.gif

What would you say about this one?

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...-tune-beginner/

It has a different approach to it, because of the less technical approach but the presence of many articulation elements - bends and vibrato!

I will tell you all about the seminar - it's starting today at 7 PM and I can't wait!

Hit me up when you have a recording or any question, ok? Tell me man, are you ok with the theoretical part behind these lessons?

Hope you had a great seminar biggrin.gif I have no doubt you will love it. I actually do have a basic understanding of the theory, especially the Pentatonic scale, this lesson is just what I need, already been practicing slowly over backing track and love the use of the bending and the vibrato which to me adds so much more heart to your playing. Looking forward to sending videos. P.S, let me know how seminar went biggrin.gif

Hey Tom! Glad to hear you're having fun with the lesson and I am curious to see the vids biggrin.gif The seminar... I have no words smile.gif Takara was a great teacher to us. He is a humble person, in respect to the immense martial arts tallent and knowledge that he possesses.

The bad part is... My whole body hurts from the soles of my feet to the tip of my fingers and the neck, everything hurts laugh.gif But it's that good sort of pain, that tells you your body is ready for going to the next level!

Great news man - looking forward to that. Which cam did you buy? Well, meeting and training with Takara was a genuine and extraordinary experience indeed. I am looking forward on getting my hands on the video footage. There is a great deal of info that must be remembered, so having it on video is always welcome.

Awesome Pic Cosmin. Seminars are great I remember doing a few with some UFC fighters and one of my best friends is a 2 time K1 Kickboxing North American Grand prix champion( Michael the black sniper McDonald) and just him showing me things is inspiring, honestly like when you show me something on guitar biggrin.gif The camera is a Samsung 14.2 MP with 18x zoom records in 1080 P and has built in wi fi so I can instantly upload to Youtube, getting it on Friday.
