QUOTE (Yahoo News)
Led Zeppelin are reportedly about to reunite for a one-off memorial concert.

If true, it would mark the third time that the '70s legends have played since disbanding.

After the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, founding members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones regrouped for Live Aid in 1985 (with Phil Collins) and for Atlantic Records' 40th Anniversary concert (with Bonham's son Jason).

It is now suggested that the latter formation will play a special concert in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in London.

A source said: "Page, Plant, and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date.

"And no one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out.

"It has been hoped for and denied for years. But this is the closest they have ever come to a reunion tour. The feeling is that this is going to happen next year."

Ertegun died in December 2006, following a fall at a Rolling Stones concert. The likes of Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, and Crosby, Stills & Nash all played his New York memorial in April of this year.

What do you Guys Think About that?? I think it's Awesome, Of Course they're alot older, So they're not gonna be like Zeppelin of the 70's but It's still awesome, Living Legends on Stage Together Again.

Yes, that's True.

But I guess it's fitting that John Bonham's son Jason Bonham will be playing.

And while it will never be the same... I think that having Jason drumming is cool because it keeps the Bonham name alive,

I read a Story once,
they say Led Zeppelin came in for a Recording Session... and Jimmy Page and Robert Plant heard John Bonham Practicing some of their Songs. But then all of a Sudden they see John Bonham walk up... but the Drums were still going.
And they said "if you're here who is Drumming? and he said "Oh, thats my son". laugh.gif

Jason Bonham was only about 12 years old at the time.

Hey guys, I read this this morning...

http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/inde...reunion-rumors/

just thought I'd share...I hope it's not true as even though all the members aren't there it would still be pretty cool to hear the old songs live again.

Indeed thats pretty amazing. I was so freakin happy when I heard it. I'm gonna get tickets to their gigs asap. But then again, I dont think it will be as good as they used to be. I like their early work best.
