I have heard many solos of this kind. I wonder what is that scale or notes. It quite exotic and fresh.

I give a virtual donut for solving out this scale smile.gif

This is from Misha Mansoor's (Periphery) soundcloud.

Actually it's simple C minor scale, with C harmonic minor at 0,26 smile.gif

Funny that you say that...the bit at 0,26 doesn't sound right to my ear. smile.gif

Harmonic minor starts at 0,24 precisely, but your point is about ending - with E1 open string (intentionally or not),which produce C major smile.gif

Yeah you're right it the ending sounds a bit harsh but I also understand it could be deliberate..It doesn't bother me so much the more I get used to it...Bit like some music that sounds odd to begin with and then you expect what's coming and nothing eventually could replace it.

Sinisa's already got the scale,

You should look into the first solo in 'Luck As a Constant' by Periphery, Misha does a similar thing. It's just the way he uses intervals in the scale for the 'exotic' feel.
