I second Atreyu. Anyone who has not heard "Lead Sails, Paper Anchors" needs to right now!! It has everything from sweet 80's metal tunes (like Blow) to gorgeously composed orchestral songs (like the title song) and everything in between, all with a consistent dosage of modern metal.

It's unfortunate though, they (mostly their singer though) are rubbish live... It's a shame as I think they'd be massive if it wasn't for their live show. Their drummer (who does a LOT of the vocals on the album as well) is flawless live though, it's really cool.

Y'know, I'm not into the other Atreyu stuff, but that song 'Blow' was great! Cheers for posting!

This band is just outa this world! (Pun Intended)

The guitarist did solo for another band the songs suck but his solo is just wicked. What pedals is he even using to achieve that sound?

This is not for the faint of heart, I don't know why I gravitate towards this dark evil music, but I do. Also caution to the lyrics for those who like clean music.
