Hey guys is anyone using this system?

I am usually very old school, but I like the idea of changing tunings pretty fast without needing too much time for it.

I only found some "No real guitarist needs something like this" posts on several blogs, but I wonder why is that technology available for years if noone uses it, hahaha

--------------------
Guitars: Fender Telecaster, Fame PRS Style Guitar, Ibanez S-450 (I think)
Bass: Status with graphite neck
Amp: Blackstar 5 Watt, Kemper Profiler, Yamaha THR10x.
Pedals & co: STRYMON TimeLine, EHX Soul Preacher, EHX Tone Tattoo, EHX Holy Grail Plus, EHX Big Muff Pi, EHX Super Ego, TC Nova System, TC Polytune, TC Dreamscape, Ibanez TS 808, Digitech Distortion Factory DF-7, CIOKS Powerunit, more to come...
Studiotechnique: Steinberg CSX interface, various mics and outboard, including Alan Smart, Audix, Beyerdynamic, CAD, Chandler, Charter Oak, Empirical Labs, Great River Electronics, Kush Audio, Lexicon, Peluso...

I won't (at this point) use this automatic electronic tuners because they are expensive at the moment for what they offer.

I applaud Gibson for doing radical new things.

Definitely, while their new 'X' range is a cool idea, actual usability leaves a lot to be desired. (Obviously this is more than just an electronic tuner laugh.gif)

I don't use this system but I think that it can be very useful for playing live when you have songs with different tuning. I usually go from Standard to Dropped D in Cirse's gigs so this would make the change smoother.
