> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate, I'm glad to know that you are enjoying this lesson. smile.gif

The main thing to fix on this lesson is timing. Starting at 00:21 start the most important issues to fix. So my suggestion is to take each of those riffs and practice them slower using metronome or a drum loop until you can play it 100% tight. Then connect all of them using the slower backing until you reach the normal tempo of this one.

Keep on the hard work. wink.gif

Howdy mate,

I also agree with Gabriel and in addition, I would suggest you to memorize each part until you can hum it with your voice. That will mean that you have it in your mind and once you know where to place your fingers on the fretboard, it will come far easier for you to play it. Work your way up to speed as Gabe said and you will be good with this piece!

Keep rocking and let's see the improved take!

Cosmin

To get a better timming You should focus on the moments that overlap some drums accents. It hard to focus on every single note but being precise at accents gives overall better timming feel. There are some tought places in this lesson. Try to cencentrate o bit more strength before doing those fast, right hand runs. Also I some lack of confidence about picking direction. I think You should go back to the main lesson and watch closely how Gabriel's right hand moves on each stroke. Anyway...Big part of the lesson is done and just needs some adjustments smile.gif Good job! smile.gif
