> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate, nice take. I think that your tone has too much effect and the EQ needs some more definition. You could try lowering the bass frequencies or maybe increasing a bit the higher ones. Your take is good, but there are some sections that could sound tighter and cleaner (and the tone isn't helping there) like at 00:14 or at 00:21. But these issues are very minimal, the overall is good.

Hey man! Good timing and tight playing here. Not much to add aside from what Gabe said - focus on cleaning up your tone as it's a bit muddy and it won't help your playing shine like it should. Also, that vibrato around 0:31 could be a bit wider.

Keep rocking,

You did some good work with this lesson. Though...Your right hand looks scary for me but If it works for You....why not biggrin.gif Nothing much to complain. I know jazz likes warm tones but a bit of presence won't be bad for this one smile.gif
