Hi there all guitar addicted bastards biggrin.gif

So here we go with the "Broken Egg Collab" final mix! First of all I would like to Thank You all for joining. Once again this was great fun to hear and mix all Your solos. Nice to see mroberts70 join us this time cause he didn't make it in the poor puppy collab smile.gif

https://soundcloud.com/dariuswave/guitarmasterclass-net-broken

Order of appearance:

1. tonyk
2. Jouve
3. mroberts70
4. guitarerro
5. Sensibile Jones
6. Darius Wave

Now about Your solos:

tonyk - Your tone is better than in the poor puppy collab but You still need to do lot of practice with Your timming and precision. Also bends need some more attention. But there is some music in You and I think it's only a matter of time smile.gif

Jouve - tone i warm and based on low midrange. I think it works ok. There are some cool phrases and ideas. It has a melodic sense. Great work. No harmony flaws, wrong notes...but I'm pretty sure You know that You have to focus on Your timming smile.gif

mroberts70 - similar tone to our previously mentioned friend smile.gif Some good ideas in there but we already spoke what needs correction. You've recorded solo through the whole backing track so i choose the better part cause the other had some C# note on the chords with C (dorian mode used on aeolian based chords). But we made some things clear in the main collab topic biggrin.gif

Guitarerro - freq response of Your tone is ok but I think the gain is a bit too high - there is a lot of noise under the solo. Also work on some more discipline with Your hands...don't move too much cause You can hear some scratches between the notes. Nice melodic concept and music lives in You for sure! Well done! smile.gif

Sensibile Jones - Nothing to add about the tone - nice and warm smile.gif I'm only afraid You went a bit too far with the dorian experiments...some notes on the chorus create some weird intervals and it's not perfect in this way but I think We're gonna work on this next time!. Great job! smile.gif

Darius Wave - dude You suck...don't ever play any solo again! tongue.gif

Once again BIG thank You to all who participated! You're a team of some awesome friends and guitar fans! smile.gif

It's good to analyze what notes are int he precise chord when You catch the moment when something feels to be not quite good. Remember that infor abous scales You can use doesn't mean You can use all of them anytime You like - sometimes its a matter of one chords that has a note different than regular minor scale I before going to improvise, it's good to find where those "warning" spots are in the backing track smile.gif

Very cool playing guys, enjoyed listening to this one! smile.gif
I like the emotions in the guitar playing and how takes fit together in sound and mood.

Great job Darius and crew on making this one happen!
