This thursday I will be playing a song as a guest with a band of friends called "Tracy Lord". They will be playing at the Roxy Live because they just released a new album and this is the new videoclip.

Have you ever been invited to play with another band? Do you enjoy it? How it was?

That sounds interesting...Great pics Gab!
I was wondering...do you have to learn to play their music quickly before the gig or do you improvise with a chord chart/song list? smile.gif

I learn the song but they did an extended version where I could improvise a rocker solo... I didn't rehearse the song with them... when I arrived to the place they said, we play the song like the cd but in after the second chorus, we extend it and you do a solo like Zakk Wylde... laugh.gif

In my last band on a few shows we had a friend come up and sing some songs with us.

One was a heavy remake of Mambo Italiano by Dean Martin and also then an original he wrote with one of the other guys when they played together before. It was always fun.

back in the day , we would always swap band members with groups we were dong a show with.
we would pick a song or 2 both bands did and usually swap singers , seeing how that was the easiest swap

Wow, I love the song, it's really groovy. The opening riff reminded me of The Hives a bit smile.gif

Would be great to see a video of your performance with them!
