Kemper Profiling Amp on an Alto TS115A Ibanez S-770PB (Standard Tuning) Ibanez RGD 2127Z (Eb Tuning) Guitars are both mains for me, I don't go oh I want this or that. More or less what tuning I wish to play in. As for amps, I kind of like most of the DV Mark Triple 6 amps I've run. They just seem to really cut through a mix when I practice. -------------------- Guitars:

I'm using Gibson Les Paul Studio and Line 6 Pod HD 500 for my lessons at GMC. When I play live, I use the same guitar connected to many pedals (overdrive, phaser, wah wah, volume, delay) and then to my Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. My cabinet is a Marshall 1960b 4x12.

My gigs setup includes a pedalboard :
going to this amp : Pedalboard gear : * Crybaby bass way * Digitech Envelope Filter * Digitech Driver (overdrive/distortion) * Markbass Super Booster Pedal (for DI out + boosting/tone shaping features) * Korg Tuner Amp : Nemessis NC115 amp - 250w going to 1x15 speaker Guitar : American Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe I find this setup very practical and good sounding. It is also relatively easy to carry to the gigs. Amp is powerful but somewhat light, find it lighter then most of the combos I tried. If I would upgrade it, I would add another 2x10 extension cab for better definition and punchy response. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

This is my main louder/heavier rig.
I also do a lot of small club gigs. [attachment=32097:ken_at_DB.jpg] Various guitars though - I'm not too loyal to any of my girls. [attachment=32098:jazz_and_3_90.jpg] -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

I change it up quite a bit but when I'm playing at home for my own amusement it's usually this '59 Martin
When I play electric I either like a 58-60 Gibson Les Paul Standard or a cool old Fender but I usually always use the old Fender amps. This post has been edited by Amp360: Jun 1 2013, 01:07 AM -------------------- company contact

Whats the story behind the Tele 'custom' with the Fender (amp?) logo in the upper bout of the body? Very cool.
And super bitchin tweeds! When I play electric I either like a 58-60 Gibson Les Paul Standard or a cool old Fender but I usually always use the old Fender amps. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine

For most band gigs these days I'm using this modified Traynor Guitar Mate. This amp originally had EL84 output tubes and put our around 15-18w RMS but has been modified with a 1950s Stancor output transformer and now has 6L6 output tubes and a big magnet Jensen 12" speaker. It loud enough for most venues. I used to run an extensive pedalboard but these days I just plug straight into the amp.
For bigger venues I use my old standby which is a 1965 Fender Twin Reverb with factory Fender branded JBL D140F speakers. I bought this amp in 1966 from Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead and it has long been my mainstay. For guitars on band gigs I generally take the trio below left, which are (left to right): 1954 Gretsch Country Club (main guitar), 2000 DeArmond Starfire Special (spare) and 1972 Gerlach with sound hole pickup (slide guitar). For solo acoustic gigs my main axe is the re-topped Martin D18 below right. I generally run it through a SansAmp Acoustic DI into the PA and also mic it. Nice Yamaha (bottom picture on left). 650? Yeah, 1982 Yamaha XS650SJ with 750cc big bore kitted engine. Cafe bars. Rear shocks are about an inch taller than stock for more cornering clearance and quicker steering. Stock appearance, below.
