No we are not, and there has been a massive embargo on the truth for decades.

A large number of ex high ranking officials including air traffic controllers, ex secret op. officers, commercial pilots, numerous military defense specialists with top secret clearance, people who had access to very sensitive documents
lieutenants, ex commanders in the u.s airforce,
astronauts,etc... all going before the national press club to discuss what their experiences have been regarding u.f.o's and all are willing to go before congress to testify under oath.. never before has such a group come forward..

this is a must see it is long.. extremely informative and enlightening.

I certainly don't think we're alone in the universe. I just don't think they're 'here'.
If all the govts of the world can't even properly encrypt their own emails and hide even the most benign of 'scandals' do you really think that they could hide the existence of actual extra terrestrials and their aircraft for the better part of 70 years?
I don't.

*The 'National Press Club', where that long conference vid was held, is not an official govt. building or even a room in a govt. building. It's a private hall for hire to anybody. Essentially the same as the as a conference room at a Marriott hotel.
Also, do you really think the US government would let these guys walk around and make videos if it was real stuff?

I love UFO stuff, ghosts, Bigfoot, the Yeti, etc. and would LOVE to believe all of this!
But none of this 'testimony' is corroborated. It's just guys talking. No proof of their credentials or actual background.

I assume it's all just really classified, high end military/space hardware - probably from several countries.

True concerning the NPC not being a government establishment, it was never intended or presented as such. However it is advertised as such:

The National Press Club, a private club for journalists and communications professionals, has been a Washington institution for more than a century. It is also a world-class conference and meeting facility that hosts thousands of events each year for sophisticated clients from around the globe. And while these are the Club’s functions, its mission is to be The World’s Leading Professional Organization for Journalists. It is a social and business organization dedicated to supporting the ongoing improvement of the profession of journalism.

and is recognized as such far more than any regular Marriot conference room.

Concerning government secrecy on the matter, there has been an abundance of whistleblowers formerly involved within certain government and military agencies that have come forward to spill the beans, so you're correct in that they can not keep it a secret - because the secrets are out of the bag, however, these agencies can take a position of official denial - which they continue to do. And you must remember - these agencies operate on a "need to know" basis, meaning that that it is like an onions skin, with only the few at the very heart of it having a full understanding of the whole. Meaning, that "governments" ei; congress, politicians and such are not in the loop, even the Presidents have not been privy to all the information.

What you do have at that conference are MANY high ranking and highly credible people of position coming forward with reports they were never supposed to.

From nuclear officers at launch sites where the the U.S. nuclear strike capability was taken down rendered useless by one of these craft - to an FAA Official who was order to sit on taped records of a massive ship playing cat and mouse with a flight from Alaska to Japan (these tapes have been leaked).

You also have the colonel that was in charge of the desk at the Pentagon for the Army's Foreign TEchnology Division explaining that real crafts came down in Roswell/Aurora in 1947 and how the ships were back engineered through military and private sector companies - none knowing what they had, or if there were any other pieces to it - just asked to take apart and replicate.

The list goes on and on and on with these types of witness testimony from highly credible people - and to simply dismiss them all as liars is not practical and really shows a predetermined stance as to not budge on the issue.

Here is a list of the participants in this most recent Disclosure Conference:

Testimony that Explains the Secrecy

Merle Shane McDow: US Navy Atlantic Command
Lt. Col. Charles Brown: US Air Force (Ret.)
"Dr. B" Lance Corporal Jonathan Weygandt: US Marine Corps
Maj. George A. Filer, III: US Air Force (Ret.)
Nick Pope: British Ministry of Defense Official
Larry Warren: US Air Force, Security Officer
Sgt. Clifford Stone: US Army
Master Sgt. Dan Morris: US Air Force, NRO Operative
A.H.: Boeing Aerospace Employee
Officer Alan Godfrey: British Police
Sgt. Karl Wolf: US Air Force
Ms. Donna Hare: NASA Employee
Mr. John Maynard: DIA Official
Dr. Robert Wood: McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Engineer
Glen Dennis: NM UFO Crash Witness
Sgt. Leonard Pretko: US Air Force
Dr. Roberto Pinotti: Italian UFO expert
Dr. Paul Czysz: McDonnell Douglas Career Engineer
Astronaut Edgar Mitchell
John Callahan: FAA Head of Accidents and Investigations
Michael Smith: US Air Force Radar Controller
Franklin Carter: US Navy Radar Technician
Neil Daniels: United Airlines Pilot
Lt. Frederick Fox: US Navy Pilot
Captain Robert Salas: US Air Force, SAC Launch Controller
Prof. Robert Jacobs: US Air Force
Harry Allen Jordan: US Navy
James Kopf: US Navy Crypto Communications

Witness Testimony Overview

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell: May 1998
Monsignor Corrado Balducci: September 2000

Radar and Pilot Cases

FAA Division Chief John Callahan
Sgt. Chuck Sorrells: US Air Force (ret.)
Mr. Michael W. Smith: US Air Force
Commander Graham Bethune: US Navy (ret.)
Mr. Enrique Kolbeck: Senior Air Traffic Controller,
Dr. Richard Haines
Mr. Franklin Carter: US Navy
Neil Daniels: Airline Pilot
Sgt. Robert Blazina (ret.)
Lieutenant Frederick Marshall Fox: US Navy (ret.)
Captain Massimo Poggi
Lt. Bob Walker: US Army
Mr. Don Bockelman: US Army

And many more people just like this from the previous Conference contained in the video above.

As you can see, it appears Disclosure is as hand - and short of Obama admitting to it, is probably the best we are ever going to get, when you take into account the secrecy for control, technology and power within the military industrial complex.

Besides - how can anyone believe a single thing that that drips form Obama's lips anymore?

We are not Alone ! rolleyes.gif

They have been here on Earth ! tongue.gif

But are They here on earth , still ? mellow.gif

Are They Good or Bad - maybe like mankind , so we should be very care full with them dry.gif

And beside all that ,we are responsible at first what happens on our planet and things are going strange !

So we should first look more inside Our Self and than from there around Our Self, to recognize what Everyone by Himself

could do

to get the Place a more Harmonized one .

Those are my sentiments as well Dieterle.

I don't subscribe to anyone that believes they understand the motives, agendas or structure of the "alien" phenomena, which may not be alien at all - could be interdimensional for all we know, overlapping and occupying the same space.

The fact is, i don't think anyone truly understands - and we could be just as foreign in how we perceive reality as we are from lobsters to humans.

Even if they were merely 50 years ahead of us in technology, the differences would seem vast and the things they accept as fundamental would appear to be magic - just look at how far our technology jumps in a single decade - much less hundreds or thousands of years.

The notion that distances in space are too vast to be practical as a means to rebuke the idea of "aliens" doesn't really hold water either - with budding theories of physics learning more and more everyday as to the nature of space, time and dimensions. Quantum entanglement means that 2 particles act in conjunction with each other regardless of how far apart they are - it makes no damn sense to us, but that is simply because we can not understand the mechanism with our current level of understanding - doesn't mean the theory or sciences involved do not exist - it just means we haven't breached them yet.

We can't even understand how to mentally visualize a 4th dimension, much less the many more that we know to exist.

I've always loved these informative and easy to understand videos concerning such things:

We can't believe we are the pinnacle of intelligence and have reach the pinnacle of understanding. For all we know, and I believe to be true, is that aliens could have been here all along - operating at the edge of our peripheral.

I have no answers personally, just questions and the desire to understand a very real presence which seems to be the architects of the secrecy themselves.

Fascinating stuff anyway.

I love this quote by Dr. Eben Alexander, who is a neurosurgeon which had a near death experience. He was part of the scientific establishment and scoffed of the notion of consciousness outside of the physical processes of the brain, until he witnessed it himself. Now, his entire life is based on research of consciousness after death. I bring this up because in so many ways, the UFO enigma seems to go hand in hand with other phenomena - such as paranormal and spiritual. There is some sort of link, and it makes sense - when we are dealing with the nature of reality and perception and our place in it.

Here's his position:

One thing that we will have to let go of is this addiction to simplistic, primitive, reductive materialism. Because, there is really no way, that I can see, a reductive materialist model becoming remotely in the right ballpark to explain what we really know about consciousness now. And coming from a neurosurgeon who, before my coma, thought I was quite certain how the brain and mind interacted, and it was very clear in that realm that the brain gives you consciousness and everything else, and when the brain dies, there goes consciousness, soul, mind; it's all gone, and it was clear. Now, having been through my coma, I can tell you that's exactly wrong, and that in fact, the mind and consciousness are independent of the brain.

Dr. Eben Alexander

----the mind and consciousness are independent of the brain.----

Thats exactly RIGHT !

There is an interesting little meditation exercise ,

first cool down so start concentrating on breathing and slow it down step by step

dont follow any thoughts - thats not easy - but just let them flow...

when you are calm , start to concentrate on your heard and try to think from there

will take some exercises and time but will be a great experience !

A great thing if you just could remember, whenever you start to think , try thinking from the heart - i mean in your regular

lifetime smile.gif

It is just a step out of time cool.gif

And what proof is there offered that any of those retired military guys with level 'whatever' clearance are who they say they are? I see no notarized papers or credentials. It's just a list of names with alleged rank. Do you know them? I don't know them. When you Google most of their names all that comes up is UFO stuff from that video and other things like it.
Is there even such a thing as level 14 clearance? If so, is there a level 25 clearance or a level 100 clearance?

*And after all these years not one of those high clearance guys was able to steal or sneak out a 'clear' photo of said UFO or an alien or a piece of alien technology? I mean folks regularly leak and steal actual military and political secrets easily enough.

It's like saying in court, "yeah, he did it".

I said in my first sentence, I don't think we're alone. I just don't think they're here.
I would love it if they were but that 'evidence' is all hearsay and anecdotal. It doesn't hold up in my personal court of critical thinking and even TV judge Judy would dismiss it. As much as I would love for there to be extraterrestrials and their technology here on earth I can't let confirmation bias get in the way of evidence and/or the lack thereof.

My point of view is like this: the human kind is susceptible to self destruction, since beginning of the time.Wars occurs all over the world, but all kind of local or regional character (except for the two WW). Now, what do you think, which the spark might set fire to the whole world today ?!? Some crazy dictator? no way. Entire life you are watching movies with aliens as invaders, which will wipe us off the face of the earth. What would happen if the world's governments announced that aliens coming ? And while you know that you can't defend yourself and your family ?! Well, there would be chaos ! All governments know that fact and they will not allow that to happen, it's a simple truth .

Personally, I always believe that we are not alone, and that we were often visited, even nowadays, but looks like we really are not yet ready for Contact smile.gif

I understand Klasaine that you don't believe they are here, and most likely there is no amount of evidence available that will convince you, so my posts are not an attack at you, but reasons, and fascinating ones, for why I am convinced. I use to not think anything of this subject at all - I had heard of it and some of the weirdos that were involved in the movement back in the 50s, but that was the extent of my interest, until I witnessed something unusual back in the early 90s which, in my mind, couldn't have been explained conventionally. Ever since I have somewhat dedicated myself to understanding this subject. The rabbit hole is deep - and there are so many theories bouncing around out there, each vehemently defended, that it is easy to see why people have a hard time taking it seriously, but I have tried to stick to the basics myself, and kept my BS meter at full throttle, stayed away from the cult-like opinions. Like you, I stand solid in my convictions, but from the other side of the subject, and there is no amount of convincing me that there is no active phenomena taking place.

These are some very interesting incidents of UFOs tracking planes and the records being leaked...

The FAA official involved with this one (below) is one of the people involved in the Disclosure hearings...

This is another of the participants in the Disclosure meeting, Bob Salas, former Captain U.S. Air Force, discussing the disruption on the U.S. Nuclear Arsenal by UFOs on the Larry King Live show...

Instances such as these, from confirmed ranking, highly credible people of position go on and on.

I think it'd be incredible, no, impossible even, that we would be alone in the universe. There should be millions of sentient species out there. But. The thing is...most of them would also certainly be trillions and trillions of miles apart AND very likely existing millions of YEARS apart. Life in universe is much like sparks flying off a campfire - there are innumerable sparks but none ever collide or have the time to touch another in their incredibly short existence. And our entire solar system has evolved and will vanish and die out in what is a fraction of an eyeflash in the timescale of the universe or universes.

That is the reason I think it extremely unlikely that we'd have seen or been visited by aliens. There is just no proof at all. Only stories, and unconfirmed people saying whatever. Might as well believe in gods of Olympus if one believes in aliens. But, I suppose some people just choose to believe and that's fine. A whole lot of people believe various deities ruling over their lives, it's human nature. Whatever one chooses to believe, becomes a reality for that individual, and even if 99% of people would do their best to show that's wrong, it won't change the mind of such people. Me, I don't believe things even if I see them-they must be things that can be tested and measured or at least theoretically proved to exist based on other phenomena that acts the same.

There are for sure all kinds of strange phenomena and classified incidents. My wife's parents both are officers in the air force for instance, and yes, there's a lot of stuff that is classified. None have anything to do with aliens, however. Flukes in the system etc. I have personally seen a very localized small tornado for instance that was a mere two feet wide and sucked up a water column much like the aliens in Abyss if you know the film. My buddy was convinced it was an alien lake monster no matter how much I tried to explain air currents on water level to him. Probably still does.
