I have 2 of them and I haven't yet managed to 'consume' them yet My favorite is the 7075 alloy and the black paint which is a bit more abrasive so it doesn't slip

I have received my Von Hotch Pic!
As I said before my go to pick is the V-Pick Stiletto, I told Von Hotch what sort of thing I liked etc and he was already working on a pick for himself that fitted my needs too. So as you can see he nailed the size, it's a perfect size. It looks fantastic the drilled out grip holes as perfectly placed and shine like diamonds (as Rhianna might say) The quality of the pick in it's finish is flawless, I am seriously impressed, the powder coating is really hard wearing. Now for the important bit the sound and playablilty The pick is locked in place when you hold it thanks to the grip holes, the v-pick does feel secure but this takes it a stage further! Sound wise there is a little more treble than the V-pick, it's more apparent with clean sounds, with overdriven sounds it comes across as a little more bite. It's a quick pick and glides over the strings well. Where people have said the v-picks produce a chirp sound, this pick doesn't but can give you a slight scratchy sound on the wound strings but that isn't heard in the amplified sound, changing picking angle can reduce this too. So my initial impression is that in looks it wins hands down against the Stiletto and is at least it's equal in playability and sound and that is no faint praise, because I dearly love the Stiletto. A huge thanks to Von Hotch for sending me this. Now about the pink powder coating?! -------------------- My SoundCloud

Really looking forward to it man I mean, that would be the ultimate pick for me - both playable and branded with the mark of my brain child!

Wow! This looks totally rad! Even if I know it's not so, they seem very prone to rust! I don't think aluminum rusts |

I don't think aluminum rusts Any metal can oxidize (rust) given the right conditions. Those pickup covers look AWESOME. Also, stay tuned GMC, next week my website Six-String Samurai is doing a giveaway with Von Hotch, featuring a few of the Premium Line as well as Signature Series picks from our very own Gabriel and Todd! -------------------- http://www.six-string-samurai.com - Gear reviews for the terminally GAS-afflicted.
