Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Patrick!

In my opinion, you did a very good job here - maybe you can make some of the galloped notes sound a bit more full - the pick angle makes them sound a bit too dry I think - but as an ensemble it is very good!

Seems like You have some really nice skills to show! smile.gif This take is same as metalcore - almost perfect. As for the pick angle I'm not sure If I would agree with Cosmin. I see there is some circle picking added to it and it can confuse as about what is the pick angle while the pick crosses the string smile.gif Well done!

Hi man! As my friends said, this take is very close to be perfect! You have to adjust the angle of your pick or maybe the strength of your palm muting to get a better sound of the faster sections like the gallop. If you listen carefully to your audio in the gallop you will notice that you here more pick than note sound. Fix that and you will get a perfect take!
