Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello. This is my first post and first experience with GMC - so far it looks really awesome and worth the money a hundred times over. Anyway I've been a guitarist for about 14 years and I love it. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone and working with the lessons on GMC.

Rock on!
Sonic

Welcome Sonic!

Enjoy your stay in the lessons and in forums and while Kris called it the GMC Institution, some threads on the forum certainly resemble a mental one tongue.gif

Kris - I've been checking out some of the 101 lessons, they're awesome ...I'm already learning new tricks. It's really cool that you're doing what you're doing. I didn't think there was much hope for improvement since I can't really afford private lessons, but this is even better ..and it's cheaper, I couldn't be happier and more excited. Rock on!

I'm into everything really. I don't truly excel in any one thing and I've never really focused on any particular style - I guess I've been on a 14 year quest to develop my own sound, which I'm still working on in my spare time. If I had to choose one style that I like to play the most however, it would definitely be the blues. I also like to listen to Vai and Satriani ...someday I will play like that ....someday...

Thanks for the responses all. I can tell that this is gonna be worth my time.

Regards,
Sonic
