I'm a Studio One user too. I think the workflow is the best, and it's not bloated unlike a lot of other DAW's on the market today.

A buddy of mine had Studio One since it came bundled with his mixer/interface and it did have a nice clean interface. For straight tracking it's really quick to work with. But it's not really on the same level as something like LOGIC IMHO which is just staggeringly powerful and flexible. But it's also a lot more complicated in bits. I'd say REAPER is a good step in between due to it's vast amount of built in plugins as well as plugin support.
