i havent been here in a bit, my computer died but i'm glad it's back! i've been still working on the tone thing and I wanted to share this with you guys so you can give me your opinions on it,Hopefully it's improved!

You say you're working on the 'tone thing'. Could you possibly be more specific? What kind of tone are you trying to achieve. I think if we have that info, it will be easier for us to help you. |

Well done The piece works but it could use a tone tweak but that's a perpetual search so don't let it throw you. The guitar tone is perhaps a bit heavy in the upper mid range of frequencies. It could use maybe a bit of a scoop (cut the mids) and let in a little more sparkle (treble
How are you recording? Direct out from amp? If so, you are not getting any speaker color from your cab and can't adjust the microphone to change the sound. hey thanks everyone for your replies! I will deff take the advice. Gabriel i miced the amp with an sm57. Cosmin: I actually payed 500 for mine! so i was happy haha, Darious: as for the drums that i feel is my biggest problem! i can't seem to eq those right at alll and have no idea on how to either!! Ah ok! How close to the cabinet did you position it and in what part of the speaker? -------------------- My lessons
