Agree! LePuo is a freeware master piece I work mostly his pllug-ins. I only use Kefir impulse loader instead of LeCab because of it's memory usage. But...after upgrading or changing the PC I could probably go back to LeCab As for the Power Amp I'll try to do some tests with Direct preamp out of my amp. Will see what's gonna happen I can't believe it, your setup is identical to mine. I'm a big user of keFIR too, I just find it more productive than LeCab. I've been messing around the demo of Head Case, which seems really good, especially at $60. You can make your own amps with it, pretty cool. |

how about a link and some samples? Sure This is the official website; http://www.acustica-audio.com/ This plug-in simply works the same as kemper profiling amp but can only handle subtle distortion (like studio tools or very clean amps...). At first it might look confusing but it really isn't. Its designed exactly like vsti or maybe synth. interfaces. You load a "preset" and thats it, most studio presets are tweakable (like in eq you have 1 band, gain and maybe q...). You'll see many controls but its ok not to tweak them as the developer adjusted them to sound as real as possible. Like real hardware, input gain is important to get the best result. Keep in mind the forum is a great place to get answers when needed. I'm a nebula 2 user, its very affordable and able to use almost every preset available. I own a few 3rd party bundles, most are high-end eq's as Nebula excels on that department. http://www.ownhammer.com/ This is an example of one 3rd party developer though for now there aren't many. He's very focused on guitar and created some cab.s for axe fx. I haven't bought anything from him as the freeware stuff I have is ok for me but he shares a cab demo for nebula somewhere in that site and its mind blowing http://damyfx.altervista.org/nebula-programs.html This is where I downloaded the axe fx cab.s but seems there is a 3 euro limit which I find ridiculously low for those cab.s http://cabs.kalthallen.de/ Another example of freeware...there are a few more like this on websites or forums but I'm not sure if or whichones work with "nebula free" This post has been edited by Mertay: Jul 27 2013, 03:04 PM |
