What is the oldest piece of gear that you own?

I don't have any vintage stuff unfortunately, so the oldest piece of gear I have would probabbly be a DOD FX25b pedal dating probably from 80s.

Love how it sounds on the bass smile.gif

How about you?

Cool! Unfortunately Me either can't show anything rare and vintage but I owned some Boss ME-5 processor that was pretty huge thing for the early 90's. Also had some Fender Bullet Tele (a bit different that the standard series) from the 80's and I miss that guitar a lot...had to sell it...:

An old russian Mandolin. Probably from the 60s smile.gif
Never play it though, really needs a setup (...and I can't play mandolin) biggrin.gif

Don't have a picture I'm afraid, but I'll take one and post it another time.

Well, I have this Sunn amp from the mid '60s. That's probably the oldest thing that I use regularly.

Then I have this Gibson amp from 1943. I use it occasionally.

The oldest piece of gear that I have is a 1953 Multi-Kord 6 string pedal steel guitar, I actually used it on one of Cosmins collabs not long ago.
I also have a pair of Kustom PA columns with 2x 10's and 3x 8's in each , they have a blue metal flake tuck and roll finish. very retro tongue.gif

That Gibson amp is really cool. That's crazy it's still looks in pretty good shape for being 70 years old. I imagine its very cherished. Can you mic that thing up I'm curious how it sounds smile.gif

Probably the stack my dad made, I can't get any pictures unfortunately, its not with me at the moment. I think my dad made it in the late 70s or early 80s, and then my practice amp, the fernandes FA-10, I don't know if its vintage or not, but I heard they were made in the mid or early 80s, and fernandes doesn't make that model anymore tongue.gif smile.gif

Wou nice topic!! That Gibson amp is awesome! I would really like to have one! I don't own any really vintage amp or gear but my girlfriend's father has some really vintage tube stuff. He is an engineer and nowadays he is also dedicating to repair and create music gear.

That would be this Oakland guitar...no idea how old it is, but my father gave it to me when I was 13. This is the guitar I learnt on. My mom also has a picture of my dad live on stage with his band, playing this guitar. From the looks of it, he must have been 30 or a little younger on the pic. So most likely, this guitar is more than 40 years old.
And needless to say, my piece of gear with the most value smile.gif
