Here is a killer track from MISHA of PERIPHERY playing a CARVIN headless guitar that looks like a miniature telecaster. It doesn't look metal but GOOD NIGHT does it ever sound METAL. Dig this tone!!!

This is Misha's personal guitar TAKA. Make no mistake smile.gif He does have it tuned to drop C. You can actually follow misha on sevenstring.org and read about all of his various axes.
