Need Some '5' Difficulty Solos |

No problem
Would it be best to have the actual track playing in the background or will that mask any discrepancies in my playing?

We have many lessons with exercises that are great to train your technique. Practising exercises can help you to be able to have no technique limits. My suggestion is to check which parts are giving your problems in those solos and create variations from this licks and practice them as exercises.

No worries, I'm thinking the Smoke on the water solo would be about a 5. I'm going to try that one tomorrow, seems within my grasp.
