Just sitting here playing some classical on my guitar and having a glass of red wine and I tell you what, right now life is good.

Now, since it's started to get a little colder in here - wine is on the menu again tongue.gif In my family, we are all fans of wine and I normally drink a glass at each meal with my mom and dad when we get together on Sundays. But indeed, I like to enjoy one myself while playing or reading a book smile.gif Not to be transformed into a sport tho - as with any art, it should come in small quantities and in the appropriate moments wink.gif

This is Serbian National drink - RAKIJA, a glass in the morning, before lunch, and in the evening improves improvisation skills.

I, and even James Hetfield enjoys it!

So nicely said! Well Pat, what classical songs have you been playing mate? Here's something really beautiful that craves for a classical guitar rendition:

For me, wine is nice, but I would never choose it over a beer. smile.gif

Probably that's the reason why he refused those guys at the airport to try some.
Didn't knew about that fact.

I don't really think 50 is too old for drinking. I'd need a word with a few people if that was the case tongue.gif

But yes, as Ben mentioned as he's recovering from alcoholism I suppose it's best he stays away from it.

HE made best songs while he was waysted.

Same Goes for Dave Mustaine when he was on dope. smile.gif

I personally don't care if they alcoholics, serial killers or porn Actors , as long as they make good music. wink.gif

Absolutely. Alcohol and other stuff has surely been a big influence in many musicians' life and has probably been a companion in a fair few songs.
