David Lynch is an awesome artist, I'm sure that you've read his book about how meditation helped him to be more creative and productive.

"Catching the Big Fish" ....unfortunately I didn't read that book. When I wanted to buy this book was not available for my country. Then ...... I think I don't have an explanation why I haven't bought it yet.
But I saw all his documentary videos about how he is thinking when he compose, all his explanations. All videos in his studio. He fascinate me. Is more then a genius, I always believe that a person like him is born one in a thousand years. I always tried to understand his music much deeper.
If you can see I'm a little obsessed by David and his mind smile.gif
I don't know if you saw this video when Angelo Badalamenti told how him and David, wrote the principal theme from Twin Peaks. If you want to listen watch this video, but try to imagine all that Angelo tell, all that images, all that strange feeling from story and that beautiful melody in progress. Trust me, if you can imagine perfect all this, is a magnificent feeling wink.gif

Hey guys!

We all know that when you dedicate to music, the learning process is infinite. There is always something new to learn, a new technique, a new style, a new scale, chord, etc. The main goal is always creating music so the question today are:

Are you happy with your compositions?
Yes, when I finish them. Afterwards, it depends on how good it was if I still like them.

What do you think your music is lacking?
I'm not sure if it's variety, or what - but I I think I'm satisfied right now. I just hope to be inspired when I sit down to write music.

What composers do you admire and why?\
Scar Symmetry. They are awesome. They have the perfect blend of melody, old school lyrical voicings, progressiveness, killer guitar solos, and just plain METAL! On the other side, I like Lincoln Brewster, a Christian artist. The way he composes his guitar solos are great - they mean something. And that's how he prefers to write them. Call and response.

Well, here's a piece of music that sounds amazing on an acoustic baritone and I am sure the Twin Peaks fans here will enjoy it:
