Hi guys. Just bought a few of pretty low price Fender Performance cables. (I'm not a type of guy who believes in the magic of trademark). I just bought it because the isolation gum seems to be very thick and flexible. Looks like the name of the series is pretty equal to the usage of those. I usually use some hand made (by myself) klotz ofc cable and neutrik plugs. Haven't had an occasion to make some objective tests of the cable quality (fender) I just wonder if any of You used those and have any observations to share?

I'm not tried this Fender cable, but after many investments in different brands of cables, finally I found the perfect cable for my taste: Monster. Good sound quality and very resistance (it really hears a big difference quality of the sound).

Since now I haven't any situation that would show any defect in tone caused by the cable...mostly some high cuts and noise so till now they're ok for me.

As for repair...if You break it near the jack plug it's ok but sometimes You can damage the shielding somewhere further in the cable and then through time it becomes a "stomp box chord ":)))
