I notice that the pick chart you posted shows that SHARP picks start getting popular in the last few years. I've been trying to get folks to use sharp picks for shredding since the dawn of time, it feels like It's good to see it catching on in recent years. I am working with von to make a "SIGNATURE PICK LINE" built for Shredding, for Shredders, by a Shredder Granted thats a really focused/narrow sort of thing, but it's a purpose built pick. Not to say you can't shred with a thin/round pick, because you can!!! Just that I don't, so my sig pick isn't going to be thin or round. It's going to be THICK and SHARP Probably 1.5 MM with a large bevel and point and with the hole in the middle for grip. Probably the BLACK COAT as well!!! Awesome collection Todd - last evening I had the last rehearsal with Domination - the Pantera tribute band for the gig I am having tonight and the bass player was very intrigued with the picks I was using - he had the impression that metal on metal will feel a little bit weird but I am sure he will change his mind soon enough.
