When I cut it really short, it just goes straight but if I let it grow longer it just curles by itself. It's gotten more brown over time too. When I was really young it was almost blonde I had gals all the time asking about how I "permed" my hair and they refused to believe me that it just did that by itself. It was fun for a bit but it's a bit of a pain taking care of a mane like that.
