Hi mate!! This is fantastic! It's awesome how close you are to master this one. I never thought that I was going to see this lesson at the REC anytime and I'm really happy that this will happen!! smile.gif

Besides some obvious parts that need a bit of work (Rhapsody, Dragonforce, Iced Earth rhythm, Malmsteen, Galneryus) the overall just needs days of playing it to make it sound even smoother.

About your question: is it good enough to post in REC?

There are not takes good or bad for REC. The reason of REC is to let us monitor your progress, give feedback. There is a grade just to let you compare your own takes and own evolution. So feel free to post it there if you want specific feedback from different instructors! smile.gif

and congratulations for your great job!

Congrats once again Mert! I took a bit of time to watch the vid in the REC zone and I must say you are ambitious, hard working and very close to achieving your goal!

I think Ize was busy with his band and that's why he put the 40 Metal Bands on the waiting line a bit - am I right?

What happened? Not too much time?

I got sick and tired of not beeing able to play the Dragonforce sweep picking part. Patiance is not one of my strong sides.

I am working on other things instead

Ah ok, so it's just one part. I would keep only that section in your diary routine (playing it 5/(10 minutes every day) and once you master it, you can get back to the whole thing.

I agree with Gabe on this one - it is important not to get that feeling of competition or something like that smile.gif If you want to play it, do it because you like it so much that you want to see it completed. Take it easy, in the rhythm suggested by Gabe and I am sure that the more you will treat it as your usual schedule (but focusing to play it well) it will raise itself up to tempo. You can do it man smile.gif
