> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate, congrats on your first REC take! I think that this is a very good take and that you just have to continue practicing this one to be able to play it more relaxed and adding more groove and feeling to the overal piece. Your bending is ok, you reach the correct pitch but your vibrato could be more consiste and in some cases wider.

You already know how to play each part, and there are only some little parts where your timin is not precise, but it seems that this are moments in which you still have to think on what is coming.

Ok mate, I hope that this is the first of many REC takes.

Congrats on Your first take! smile.gif I think Your guitar could be a bit louder comparing to the backing track. Very nice aproach - I reeally like when musicians keep respect for the listeners and take care about descent tuning before making the record. As Gabriel pointed you look a bit tense but most of the lesson is good enough to aprove the pass rate. One of the final licks is blurried a bit...but it's a matter of more practice - You know the notes, but You should separate them better. I also think You could play a bit harder with Your right hand. Very nice job for the first rec take. Well done smile.gif

Hey mate smile.gif I think that the guys have spotted the important things, so in order not to repeat anything, I will only say this: after making sure you have taken care of all the given suggestions, play against the original take or even record against it smile.gif Listen to the recording and you will notice the differences, if there are any, in respect to timing, dynamics or interpretation - that should be your barometer.

Keep rocking!
