Hey guys!! This thread is to share all those bands that play metal but that has also incorporated traditional / folk music from their own countries. I consider that this is one of the things that can make bands from all over the world unique.

To get back on the topic, this is some newer serbian metal band (project) with definite folk influences ...




this is some former Serbian Black metal band with ocassional folk influences, ain't sure are they

Amazing band! I love these guys - I was totally blown away when they came to Romania 2 years ago!

There's a black/ pagan metal band from Romania, called Negura Bunget. They are famous in the world, but not so much in here - ironic, innit?

They have influences from the ancient dacian music and they use a wide variety of archaic musical instruments aside the usual rock/metal 5 piece band:
