Looks like Apple decided to make the latest operating system available for free.
OS X Mavericks is out now : http://www.apple.com/osx/

Has anyone upgraded yet?
What are the impressions?

Are there any problems with drivers for audio interfaces/music related gear?

Thanks a lot for info.
I'm afraid to update at the moment in order not to loose drivers support for my external sound card or midi keyboard I use often. On the other hand - I so want to hit that update button as I also missed out on the previous OS update.... smile.gif But, it looks like it will be a smooth update after all and that they retained apps/hardware compatibility.

Good morning, Bogdan !

A few hours later i updated Garageband too and much better sound quality now with my zoom g3 included software and some cool features too .

Before updating OsX do some Time Machine backup of System ore install your old system on a extern HDD so you could use Mountain Lion and Maverick too !?
