> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Alternate Picking Workout #2 by Darius Wave

so another take but now again with distortion. I I focus on stretching my fingers instead of my whole hand. And alos focused on the unwilled sounds. hope this take is good enough grtzz

Hey mate! It's a bit better now but the problems with missing notes and some muting issues are still there. I think You need more time for this lesson. I lkie Your new position for the vid - You can lower the guitar volumne a bit , but it's already better smile.gif Give Yourself some time. Iven guitar prodigy would need some time to master some new things and some sential movements wink.gif Don't hurry as much as You do now smile.gif

Hey mate smile.gif

Progress is occurring indeed, but not at the pace you would want it to - Darius is right. Don't rush wink.gif

Hi mate. I also think that this take shows an improvement in your alternate picking playing. However I think that there is something in your technique that can give you troubles when you want to play this type of licks faster. I notice that you move your right hand finger much more than your hand from your wrist and elbow. I think that this works good when you play slow stuff but that can give trouble at faster tempos so please have this in mind and contact me if you want more info about it.
