Hi mate, nice take! Your guitar is a bit out of tune and it becomes more notorious in the second half. I think that you are playing these one ok, and that maybe dynamics are the next thing to improve. However I would like to hear it over the backing track. Is it possible?

You can play the backing from the lesson, you can download the normal tempo backings, and if you need a specific (slower) backing for practice you can contact Bogdan and ask him to send it.

it only seems to be letting me play the backing tracks... it doesn't let me download them

Hi Gab, I was considering giving this another go if you'll help me because last time i felt like i was getting somewhere, but then that thing called "life" got in the way and i got distracted.

I Looked at the top of the thread and my goal was: "my goal is to improve my speed & pick accuracy, but most importantly all the different scales of each key and chords... i want to know the guitar inside out..... "
That still looks pretty accurate to me. However a few things have changed, such as my practise time is probably now 1hr 30mins/2hours maximum maybe, depending on when i'm in college and how much work i have to do etc. However i will have days on weekends where i have all day and night to practise so it varies.

My influences i would say have steered toward Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Robben Ford. Although i still love the ones i've initially stated too.

Techniques i want to learn, i'm still not really sure, other than to work on them all & then i'll have a better idea of what i like/dislike and what i need to improve on.

Thanks

Hi mate! Great to see you back here! smile.gif

I'm checking the previous posts here and I think that the first routine that we build is really complete and has a lot of stuff that is totally connected to your goals. I wonder if maybe you had too many things to work there and that make you lose motivation. We need to be sure to avoid repeating the things that make you distract from the road!

In order to know where we are know, it would be good to dedicate this first 10 days to learn a new lesson, record it and share it here. Here are some ideas, choose the one that you like more:

Yes i definitely agree with all you've said.

I'll pick the third link, Gary Moore inspired bending 2.

I think this lesson is really good for me. It has a lot of great parts and challenging parts, for example there is a bit in the middle which is fast alternate picking which leads into a bend which is tough for me and also there is some sweep picking involved which is good for me because i never use that technique, i just seem to alternate pick everything. So it's about time that i learnt! smile.gif

Hi, just to keep you updated, i haven't forgotten about this lesson. I've re-begun working on it tonight. I've had a lot going on in music college with assignments and setlists to rehearse. With this lesson i've found some challenges which are holding me back, but they're good challenges which will push me to improve, I'll upload a clip of where i'm at with it by the end of the week smile.gif

Hi Gab, i just started doing some more work on the lesson, but i can't practise it as much as i'd like because there are a lot of tone and a half bends which are really hurting my fingertips & i've got a gig in midweek with lots of rehearsals before it so i don't want to risk tearing any skin or them feeling sore sad.gif But i love this lesson!
