Just stretched and practiced for about thirty minutes. First time I've played guitar in almost 6 months (been recovering from a wrist injury) and it felt great! Everything feels normal. No lingering pain, nothing. Will try again tomorrow. Bad blister on my ring finger, but it's a welcome sight.

Good to hear you are recovering and that playing feels good. Take it easy at first and don't forget to warm up.
Great to have you back! smile.gif

Welcome back to the wonderful world of guitar!! smile.gif Glad to hear you stretched before jumping in! Your warmup is super crucial after recovering from an injury. Also, don't forget about your "Cool Down" phase! Give your hands/arms a very light stretch after playing and drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins that build up in your hands/arms/fingers smile.gif

Hey mate! Welcome back! Take things easy and as Todd says, keep a bottle of water close by smile.gif And let me know if you'd like to get back to practicing at an easy but organized pace wink.gif I would be happy to assist with a personalized plan smile.gif
