Hey guys - out of curiosity, what would be the best sounding VST instruments / sound banks for modern pop / hip hop / electronic sounding drums?

Something along these lines (don't laugh at the examples heheh) :

Mainly curious about the ultra powerful/deep kick drum.

Well, the 'go-to' for drum samples for EDM has always been vengeance-sound - https://refx.com/products/vengeance/samples/?filter=All

You listen to any song on the charts and I guarantee you'll hear at least one vengeance kick drum and snare

But if you want a more 'original' kick, there's always Sonic Academy's KICK plugin, a bass drum synthesiser. You can adjust the pitch and stuff.

For background, hi-hats and shakers etc., Spectrasonics Stylus RMX is nice

Awesome links - I have checked out the samples and these sound really cool!
Didn't know about Vengeance sound libraries but the samples sound really familiar from radio hits.
The licensing seems a bit unclear though.

I'll dig deeper into these smile.gif
