Hi Alisson! Nice playing on this take! It sounds with a very nice feeling and this is thanks to your vibrato and tight groove. It's a pity that your guitar is not tuned right so many notes have pitch issues. It seems that the problem increases in the higher frets, so maybe the reason is that your strings are old or your guitar needs to be calibrated.

Thanks mate! Yeah , my strings were very old but the problem is fixed now. I think...

Hey Gab! I learned your lesson from Buckethead and recorded it . I now I still need to do some work , but I would like to know what do you think about the audio quality and the tone . Can you tell me what you think? Thanks mate !

Great to know that you changed strings! You should do it at least every 1 or 2 months, depending on how much you play.

You did a very good take of Buckethead lesson, you just have to be careful with timing and try to make that last lick clearer. Regarding your sound, I think that it needs some more work, the EQ is weird, it sounds as if you were recording this by line without an amp / cabinet emulation.

What did you use to record it?

Hey Gab! I told you that I was going to record a video today but I can't record the audio because the sound interface is not here, so I'm just practicing right now and I will upload hopefully a video tomorrow.

Ok mate! Don't worry. Congrats on your playing yesterday at the chat-room, your technique is becoming very tight. Keep on practicing the last 2 patterns that we worked during the session.

hahaha this video made my day!! It's so cool to see you playing this riff by Cirse!! biggrin.gif This son is one of my favorite to play live. I think that your tone is perfect for this riff, it's very close to the one that I use when I play it. I combine my mesa boogie distortion with an overdrive pedal similar to tube screamer and the resulting sound is very close.

It's important to know that this is not a guitar tone that will work for many things, it's very metallic and seems to have more mids and treble than a normal rhythm metal tone. If you are planning to use this one for playing rhythm and solos, I would adjust a bit the overall EQ, but for Por Tu Bien is perfect! biggrin.gif

Hi Alisson! Great job on this lesson! This is a very cool video. The only sections that have little problems are:

00:31 - Timing issue.

00:34 - Your bend doesn't reach the correct pitch.

00:43 - The fast passage sound unclear near the end.

I also note that your guitar sounds a bit out of tune in the higher frets, this can be a calibration or old strings problem but it should be fixed!

So, work on these details and you'll ready for a 10 REC take. smile.gif

Hi Alisson! The lesson is sounding really good. There are just a 2 small details to make it sound tighter but nothing really serious.

- Some notes are muted too early in the clean arpeggio and there are a few little timing issues.
- The last lick is not totally tight, but it's very close.

You did a killer job, congrats. wink.gif
