Uff another take... better timing but...
i added some noises on top to make a 70's groove like brazzilian or something...

Hey Jouve, nice backing! smile.gif I usually don't like to borrow licks for these things but this time I couldn't help myself. biggrin.gif I borrowed some lead lines from a song from the 80's, and then added a harmony line to it. Can anyone guess the song these lines came from?

It sounds very familiar, but I can't put my finger on it! biggrin.gif Anyway, nice job man! I can already see 'Knightrider' or a series of that sort biggrin.gif

Indeed what Cosmin said: "sounds very familiar" smile.gif For the first 8 notes I was tented to say Michael Jackson - Man in the mirror.......but I'm not sure...I am still thinking laugh.gif

Heh I like it. It's from some kind of TV show, right? smile.gif
QUOTE (tonyk @ Feb 4 2014, 02:54 AM) *

That's a nice take, easy and lightmooded. The only issue is the chords rhythm in the end, they're slightly off the tempo. But that'll do i think.

So, will there be more guys? smile.gif

biggrin.gif Nope, not from a tv show, but a very popular band in the 80's, It might be easier to guess without the extra harmony and the backing.I think it is only a half step away from being in the key of the song the licks come from.

Great takes everyone! Especially Huargo, very creative man! And Gabriel, what can I say? You got skills bro! And Tony, I especially liked the little chord vamp at the end. cool.gif

Great track Jouve! wink.gif I'm loving these takes that are already up.

AK, I know the first part is Who's Crying Now (Journey). It's crazy how well that fit in there. Not sure about the second part though.

Thanks AK.

The Journey licks sounded great over the backing track. I knew right away it was a Journey song but I will say, I needed my wife to tell me which one it was. biggrin.gif
