Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hello there mate smile.gif

I believe this is your first REC take, am I right? smile.gif If so, it's important to know that in the REC Zone, you should post vids in which you strive to use the exact techniques and approaches in the videos. I see you are not using a pick here.. The thing that I can notice is that the approach is interesting - makes me think you either have a lot of experience as a bass player or as a classical guitarist? smile.gif The main focus point as I see it, is hand synch - it's quite difficult to play this style with your fingers and I think you should try to learn it with a pick.

All the best and keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hey man! You're very skilled fingerpicking player smile.gif It's hard to compare all the details because finger dynamics are way different from the pick dynamics. But if we rate Your take having in mind it's originality I hear a piece of really good job with only few notes that were not precise and a few timming slips. Well done! smile.gif

BTW. Next time try to position the sam in face of the pc speakers and amp positioned in the same direction. This will help Your cam to get cleaner sound and more of backing track presence. It's important because loosing the presence make harder to catch You sync with the drum beats smile.gif

Hey mate! Great to see you active at Vchat streaming and here posting your first REC take. Congrats!! I agree with the other instructors about using fingerpicking in lessons that are designed for pick, however it's interesting to see you playing this stuff with your fingers. It would be cool to continue using fingerpicking but maybe also explore picking and hybrid picking techniques to make your playing more complete. The lesson sounds good, there are some licks that are very tricky to play with your fingers because of the speed, but with some more practice you will be able to master them.

Gab.-
