Hi Classmates,
I read this great article in Guitar World about noodling. http://www.guitarworld.com/beyond-fretboar...t-be-underrated It had some interesting points about noodling. Noodling is actually where a lot of creativity comes from. I personally always thought of it as just loosening up my fingers, but I started wondering what other guitarists sound like when they're messing around. There's a lot of different styles of guitarists at GMC, and it would be interesting to hear what everyone sounds like when they're just playing around. If you feel like it; just put a short video of you screwing around unrehearsed. No stress; you can buzz the strings, hit wrong notes, whatever. It might be interesting.

This is me at my worst.

Hi mate! this is a very good topic. I use to compose in this way. My ideas come to mind but most of the times they aren't 100% clear so I record some kind of sketches to then slowly continue discovering what my unconscious was trying to tell me. I call this recording pre ideas, and use to compile many of them on my cellphone (if I'm not close to my computer) or on a Nuendo project to get back later.

Check this idea for example. I'm playing some chords and improvising a vocal line over it. You speak Spanish so you will notice that the impro has a mix of Spanish words with English but nothing makes too much sense yet.

Man you guys have some great stuff. I heard so many good musical ideas. Señor Gabriel, tu canción me recuerda a Nirvana en Español.

Thanx Gabriel! This was just a short and quick demo for a friend who asked for a favor. He wanted to sell the guitar.
