> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Amitai! Good job on this lesson! The first thing that comes to mind is that you could add more sustain to your tone to make this one sound closer to the original. Besides this, your playing is very good. Be careful with that lick at 00:12 and focus on adding more feeling and dynamics to the second half which is lacking both things.

Keep on rocking! wink.gif

Hello Amitai!

I have nothing to comment aside Gabi's observations - we have debated this one a lot in your thread smile.gif

Keep rocking!

Indeed the tone is a bit too sharp and second half sound a bit square. I think I would personally play the whole thing much softer (less strength) to get warmer tone and decrease difference between hit and sustain. I think this could do really good job for this track.
