Never seen these in local stores. Very interesting demo/jam, especially since you play the bass like a guitar.
The super mario part turned out awesome - I think I'm going to steal that trick laugh.gif

Especially since bass is the best instrument to play the super mario underworld theme on smile.gif

I got the bass yesterday, with time I plan to learn how to play with bass technique rolleyes.gif

Yeah, they are pretty cool.
I have the Squier 'stock' version.
The strings (for me) are too close together to play with proper 'bass' technique. I just use a pick.

I changed the 86 for a .090 string and plays just fine. Yes, the strings are a bit closer but I'll get used to it!


Mine's a squier too but it's Olympic White. smile.gif

Yeah, I think I put a .94 on my low E. There's a little bit of an intonation issue on the low E above the 7th fret but I actually think it's a 'bad' string.

The white looks great by the way and the demo you did is very cool too.
