Great overview of plugins and basic application.

Obviously all the pictures and stuff are gonna be iZotope plugins, but the same ideas apply. laugh.gif

WELL SAID!!! Good share on this smile.gif They make really handy guides that they update through the year. IZOTOPE OZONE is honestly one of the MUST HAVE plugins for the Home Recordist IMHO. Sure, it's easy to overdo it and "over ozone" a track or a mix, but it's a swiss army knife that does what an entire bundle of other plugins does for not much money and can sound great smile.gif

+1, I remember using or recommending it several times to friends when they had to deal with a muddy track as the exciter is awesome. Even before console strip plug-ins became popular I started experimenting and end results were very promising.

The only thing I miss was the multiband limit options at the compressor, its still there but probably the algo changed as it doesn't sound same to me but still good specially for de-essing.

Probably not the most cpu efficient plug-in for mixing but the overall quality is very high so its worth freezing if needed smile.gif

Oh also it has eq matching capability, there are some out there that uses this on mixing for isolating tracks (like kick and bass) but I never got into trying that.
