IZOTOPE OZONE is honestly one of the MUST HAVE plugins for the Home Recordist IMHO. Even before console strip plug-ins became popular I started experimenting and end results were very promising. The only thing I miss was the multiband limit options at the compressor, its still there but probably the algo changed as it doesn't sound same to me but still good specially for de-essing. Probably not the most cpu efficient plug-in for mixing but the overall quality is very high so its worth freezing if needed Oh also it has eq matching capability, there are some out there that uses this on mixing for isolating tracks (like kick and bass) but I never got into trying that.
