Thanks, Gabriel! smile.gif I'm really adamant in thinking that I want vocals on this track though, as I've specifically written verse-parts and some chorus-ish parts.

Next song I will see if I can work more towards some instrumental based structure.

And as for bands, yeah, there's Cloudkicker, Modern Day Babylon and some others, for sure.

Ah ok, so if you have some lyrics, try and sing by yourself! Just to experiment and at least have it as reference, what do you think?

I have some half hearted lyrics for the first verse, but I can't sing or growl properly tongue.gif

Oooooh, and I found a new band that I like and that I wish I could play like:

hahaha, I'm enjoying the first track of Meridian!

So, you can emulate a guitar melody with your guitar?

Exactly, at first, and then you can keep it like that or try to sing it. However, I think that emulating vocals with guitar can be a good idea to finish this new song...

Well, I just fooled around with the sound a little and made some "glitches" in the music, but besides that I have done next to nothing and can't seem to get on with it.

New riff I came up with tonight. It's not brilliant, but might be usable somewhere.

I like it! It's good to have a new riff for the library, I also think it's totally usable. wink.gif

I changed the riff a bit, I'm not sure if it works better now:

Hi Cael, I like the little changes that you did, it sounds more interesting, so I would go for this new version.

I won't be home over the weekend, so no guitar for me, which will probably be a good break, but here's something I'm working on. Some of it is reused from other stuff though. Like the intro.
