Hey friends! Tonight I will go to see Eric Sardinas who will be playing 2 blocks from my house at Vorterix Theater. The production of the show is working with the same press agent than Cirse so they invited us to see the show. I don't know too much about him, just that he plays blues, with slide and that he is part of Steve Vai's label.

Have you ever seen him live?

Hell yes! Two times in Bucharest! He is A ONE MAN WALKING SHOW laugh.gif He set a table on fire and played on top of it laugh.gif You have to go see him without a question! And his playing is the most aggressive and firey sort of blues rock I have ever heard!

yes, it was!! He is a very charismatic guitarist and showman. I enjoyed his concert, even without knowing his songs. The cool moment has been when he played a cover by the great Pappo, a legendary blues guitarist from Argentina who left us some years ago. He played this song with Pappo's son and bassist and everything exploded.

About his playing, he is wild and aggressive, good combination!

I love his attack on that guitar. I've never been into the blues that much, but definitely appreciate it.

On another note - check out the relic he plays on...

Yes I've seen him live as well and he was great! He was especially great because there was a guy heckling him (I have no idea why) in the balcony where the show was at. After a few songs of putting up with it Eric jumps off of stage in the middle of a song, still playing and sliding away. He walks through the crowd, up the stairs way up into the balcony and proceeds to shred on the guitar RIGHT in front of the guy's face. It was hilarious and the crowd went nuts. I've never seen a musician do something like that. biggrin.gif

I felt sorry for his band watching the video though.

The drummer looks like a guy sitting on a bench at the park watching people walk by and the bass player looks like he's about to face plant on sedatives.

Hehe! Glad you enjoyed the show mate smile.gif Yes, indeed, Mr. Sardinas did the right thing and transformed a potentially spirit breaking experience into a great moment! I would love to see more musicians doing such stuff!
